Installers for windows and linux operating systems are available at downloads page. Mac version is coming soon.

Basics

• Your library is divided into media folders. Media folders are folders on your file systems where library items (medias, posters, media info, playlists, tags) are stored.
  • Media folders can be plain or encrypted (by password). Any items you store in encrypted media folder are completely encrypted by your chosen password. If you loose the password, you loose the content. (learn more about media folders).
  • By default, you get one non-encrypted media folder. It's inside your home folder (~/.pintowp/home_media_folder). If you want to store medias somewhere else, you can create another media folder at different location and make that your default media folder.

To summarize

This is just a desktop media player with the added capability of playing online medias from most websites directly in your player. You can download medias. You can also store them in encrypted storage so they are truly private.
